Fuzzy Growths

 

In the same way

That cities, seen from

Afar + above,

Look like statistical charts-

Mildew patches thriving in

Low points, tiled shallows-

So are we, as all matter,

An endless succession of Mandelbrot fronds-

Animate paisley-

Coursing over the surface-

Falling, rising-

Of newly-cooled rock crust,

Tumbling through our window on infinity.
