Instructions for Enjoying (Streaming / Downloading) My Free, Original Hip-Hop Music!

The first thing to understand is, there are two ways to enjoy my music: short-term and long-term.

Short-term: Stream an individual song through your media player or stream an entire album through this site (All for free, all the time!  Applies to all of my music!)

Long-term: Download to your computer from iTunes or CD Baby (among other places) for a fee (if I'm selling the album) or for free from my site (if I'm giving it away.)

Short-term Listening (Streaming):

Is easy.  Just click on the "stream" link next to any song title on any album page and your media player (i.e. iTunes, Windows Media Player, RealPlayer, etc.) should open and start playing the track automatically.  You also have the option (above the list of song titles) to "Stream Entire Album".  Just click the "play" button on the little embedded media player window.  (Looks like this: Embedded Player Example .) This will play the entire album from beginning to end.  It is important to understand that streaming only works when your computer is connected to the Internet and that no trace of the music is left on your computer after it finishes streaming.

Long-term Listening (Downloading):

If the album is only available for sale, you will see links near the top of the album page you can click on to buy it from iTunes or CD Baby.  If the album is available for free, these links will instead say "Download Entire Album".  Clicking on these links will download a zip file to your computer which includes MP3s of all of the songs on the album, as well as JPEGs of the album cover art.  If you only want some or one of the songs on the album, just delete the others and the cover art after downloading the zip file.

Cover Art:

If you just want the cover art (and don't feel like downloading the entire album zip file,) click on the cover art images that are at the top left of every album page.  This will open the file you clicked on in another browser window.  Click on the enlarged image using your right mouse button, or by holding down CTRL or Command while clicking on it with either button.  Either option will bring up a menu with an option to "Save Image As" (or some such similar thing.)  Choose that, then click "OK".  Open the file in your image editor of choice, print it and cut it out (it should fit in a normal CD jewel case.)

You Should Know That:

All of my albums are designed to be burned to disc with 0 secs between tracks. That is, I have already included the spaces between songs I intended at the end of each song itself. Some CD burning software will require you to place a 2 sec pause before the first track, however.

Now That You're Ready:
